A partnership for training

Xera donated 30 refurbished computers to the Business School in Meru, linked to African Looms APS and Mama’s Training Center. The project is also supported by Noesis Kenya and Theresa’s Foundation.

Digital skills and personal initiative

The equipment enables participants to attend online lessons and develop IT skills. Xera also supports the local group in organising digital training.

Towards independent businesses

After their initial training, participants develop business proposals. Ideas that receive a positive assessment may obtain start-up funding. The programme aims to strengthen economic independence and encourage small businesses within the communities.
