We started
with technology.

A journey that keeps growing, with one guiding belief: what already exists still has so much to offer.
Beyond the individual device.
Over time, however, faced with increasing waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and its environmental impact, Xera chose to go beyond refurbishment alone.
This led to a programme focused on reducing waste and recovering as many devices, components and raw materials as possible, with the aim of promoting a practical circular economy model.
Technology creates opportunities.
From this vision, Weeko evolved into an ecosystem of social, educational and research and development projects, inspired by the principles of the UN 2030 Agenda.
Social impact gradually became the heart of the project, turning technology into a tool for creating opportunities for people and tangible benefits for the environment.

In 2026, Weeko became a Social Enterprise. Today, it is a place where neurodivergent young people contribute to and are valued at every stage of the IT equipment recovery process.
