The project aims to reduce electronic waste and recover value from components and materials.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Complementary expertise<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alongside Xera, participants include Comec Innovative, Digitalsoft, the University of L\u2019Aquila and Universit\u00e0 Politecnica delle Marche. Automation, digitalisation, recycling strategies, artificial intelligence and environmental assessments contribute to developing the processes.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Benefits for people and the environment<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The research also aims to widen access to refurbished equipment and includes employment opportunities for people in vulnerable circumstances.
